Polythene Repair Tape.

XL’s special polythene repair tape is clear, colourless and designed by us to enable you to effectively repair any split or tear in your cover.

The advantages are also that the tape is polythene, so it is flexible and moves with your cover. It has a very aggressive glue which really sticks to the cover, as long as it is dry. And thirdly we make up to a 150mm wide tape which if you have a jagged tear will usually straddle both sides of the tear without having to use cross tapes to hold it together.

Tip. Make sure your cover is completely dry and free from dust or algae. Get somebody to hold a board on the inside of the sheet and you apply the tape to the outside of the sheet. Roll the tape onto the cover with a wallpaper edge roller. Swap places and apply the tape to the inside of the cover. Job done and a near permanent repair has been completed.

Available in widths 50-75-100 and 150 mm wide and all rolls are 33m long.
